DESCRIPTION:Dining for Delegates offers you a chance to support the candidates who will flip the General Assembly in November without leaving Alexandria. \nOn Sept. 22\, we’ll be gathering to help Dan Helmer’s campaign in the 40th District. Click the link below to donate and sign up to attend. \nCurrently a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve\, Dan served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan after graduating from West Point. While on active duty he earned a Rhodes Scholarship. \nAfter leaving active duty service Dan began working as a consultant in the private sector\, where he is now a partner in a Virginia-based small business that helps the government\, non-profits\, and businesses solve some of their most difficult problems.
