We at Democrats To Go believe that August and September are the best months to get involved in key races in Virginia (and nationwide). So along with Dining for Delegates, we will co-host our second Zoom fundraiser of the summer at 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31 for Dr. Cameron Webb.

Cameron is running for Congress in Virginia’s 5th District and has a real chance to flip the seat. We’re stepping up now to help make it happen.

In July, we raised more than $4,200 for Rep. Elaine Luria (on short notice). Our goal is $5,000 this time around …

Our advice, and the reason we’ll be pushing August and September events aggressively, is don’t wait until October to get involved. By then, voters will be overwhelmed with ads, calls, texts, mailers, social media posts and the like … and many will cast absentee ballots well before Nov. 3.
