Alexandria Democrats (and friends) will make their impact felt on the campaign trail on Saturday, Oct. 19 — the inaugural Alexandria Canvass Day.

Make sure you attend, as we launch countless canvassers from Old Town to help candidates in Loudoun County — specifically, State Senate candidate John Bell, Del. Wendy Gooditis and House of Delegates candidate Mavis Taintor.

Here’s how it will work:

• You come to the ADC office between 8 and 8:30 a.m.
• We feed you and pour your coffee (or juice)
• We assign you a turf to canvass in Loudoun County
• We find you a canvassing buddy (if needed)
• We brief you on the key talking points and issues
• You go straight to the doors — no need to stop at a staging location!

The ADC office is located at 618 N. Washington St., Alexandria, Va.

And if you can’t canvass, you can stay at the office — we’ll be writing postcards to voters there once the canvassers leave.
