You may have read about Bridgette in the Washington Post — she is the president of the Franklin County chapter of Black Lives Matter and viewed local police as allies. But then she saw Facebook photos of two members of the local force at the Jan. 6 insurrection.
That convinced Bridgette, a single mom and small business owner, to run for delegate in this historically Republican district.
