Republicans currently hold a 7-4 advantage in the House of Representatives. But we can change that this year!
Of the seven seats held by the GOP, four are considered “competitive” by the Cook Political Report — meaning Democrats have a chance in each. Cook considers three Republican seats and all four Democratic seats to be sure wins for the incumbents.
The vulnerable Republicans, in order of most to least vulnerable:
- Rep. Barbara Comstock (10th District)
- Rep. Scott Taylor (2nd)
- Rep. Dave Brat (7th)
- Rep. Tom Garrett (5th)
We need to flip just two of those seats to turn Virginia’s House delegation blue. But why stop there?
